Ohio State’s leading scorer and rebounder will return for the B1G Tournament this week.
Adam Jardy of the Columbus Dispatch reported on Monday that Kaleb Wesson, who missed Ohio State’s final three games of the regular season while serving a suspension, will be back on the court fot the Buckeyes this week. It will be his first appearance since Feb. 26.
Wesson was suspended for a violation of team rules, according to head coach Chris Holtmann. Ohio State plays Indiana on Day 2 (Thursday) of the B1G Tournament in Chicago.

The specifics of Wesson’s suspension were not released, but he missed all three of the Buckeyes’ March contests. Ohio State lost all three games, falling to Purdue, Northwestern and Wisconsin.
Wesson is averaging 14.6 points per game while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor. He’s also the team’s leading rebounder, hauling in 6.7 boards per contest.
Both Ohio State (18-13) and Indiana (17-14) are battling for an NCAA Tournament berth this week. The winner will keep their hopes alive while the loser will likely be eliminated from consideration.
