There are a few big names that haven’t taken the field for Michigan yet this spring. Some may return to the field over the next month, and others will miss the entire spring season.

Jim Harbaugh provided some updates on players who are recovering from injuries and have missed some early spring practice. There are a few significant names on that list, according to MLive.com.

Receivers Donovan Peoples-Jones and Nico Collins have been sidelined early this spring. Collins had an undisclosed surgery and the seriousness of Peoples-Jones’ injury was not specified. The two stars ranked No. 1 and No. 2 on the team in receiving yardage in 2019, with Collins leading the way.

Freshman running back Zach Charbonnet, a member of Michigan’s 2019 recruiting class and early-enrollee, will miss all of spring practice after having a scope on his meniscus. He’s expected to be a full participant this fall.

Cornerback Lavert Hill and defensive tackle Michael Dwumfour also missed early spring practice.
