Former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins participated in the team’s pro day on Wednesday, and things seemed to go pretty well for NCAA’s passing leader.
Haskins participated in several throwing drills on Wednesday, showing off his accuracy and arm strength. Afterward, the former Buckeye was asked how his day went, and he sounded pretty confident in his performance.
“It went pretty good,” Haskins said on NFL Live. “I’d give it an A as far as performance, but I missed two throws and that still kills me now. I thought I had a great day. Parris (Campbell) got tweaked up a little bit. As far as my guys, I thought we did pretty well.”
Haskins is also confident in his ability to perform at the NFL team with any team. He thinks he’ll fit in any system with any playbook.
“You put me in any playbook, I’ll make it work,” Haskins said. “To be able to show off-platform throws, moving to my left, moving to my right, being able to move off spot and still be accurate, is what I wanted to show. During the season I had a couple of throws that I missed that I still remember and I worked on all offseason. I felt like I did a good job with that.”
In one season as the starter in Columbus, Haskins threw for 4,831 yards and 50 touchdowns. He’s projected to be a first-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.
