College basketball doesn’t need anymore negative headlines, but it sounds like another major scandal will be made public on Tuesday, according to California attorney Michael Avenatti.
On Monday afternoon, Avenatti announced through his Twitter account that he will be holding a press conference regarding a “major” college basketball scandal, this time involving Nike and big college basketball names.
“[Tomorrow] at 11 am ET, we will be holding a press conference to disclose a major high school/college basketball scandal perpetrated by Nike that we have uncovered,” Avenatti announced. “This criminal conduct reaches the highest levels of Nike and involves some of the biggest names in college basketball.”

There was no information given on who all this scandal would involve.
Over the last two years, there have been significant findings in college basketball, many of which involve shoe companies, top players and major coaches. While there have already been several names attached to these scandals, it sounds like several more could be coming.
