There’s still a lot of time between now and the start of the college football season, but it’s never too early to dissect the upcoming schedule.
Recently, ESPN released its list of “games to circle” for every team ranked in the way-too-early polls. For every team, there’s one game that holds a little more significance and importance when it comes to pursuing division, conference and national titles.
Seven B1G teams are listed on ESPN’s way-too-early poll, and each team was given one game to circle for the upcoming season. Here are those games:
- Ohio State: Oct. 5 vs. Michigan State
- Michigan: Nov. 30 vs. Ohio State
- Penn State: Oct. 19 vs. Michigan
- Northwestern: Aug. 31 @ Stanford
- Wisconsin: Sept. 21 vs. Michigan
- Iowa: Sept. 14 @ Iowa State
- Nebraska: Sept. 7 @ Colorado
All seven of those matchups should create quite the hype and could tell us a lot of about which teams will rise to the challenge, particularly in the B1G East.
