James Franklin is so impressed with the Jonas Brothers, he wants them on the sideline for Penn State’s annual White Out game this fall. Seriously.

On Friday night, the Jonas Brothers put on a concert in State College and Franklin was in attendance. To show his appreciation, the head coach provided the popular music group with shirts, white Penn State jerseys and an invitation to stand on the sideline for the White Out game this year.

Fortunately, that moment was captured on video:

Franklin certainly knows how to treat the celebrities that make the trip to Happy Valley. Now he’s hoping the Jonas Brothers make a return visit in the fall.

The annual White Out game has not been specified on the team’s website yet. However, Penn State has typically scheduled that game for one of the bigger matchups at Beaver Stadium, usually Ohio State or Michigan. With the Nittany Lions hosting the Wolverine this year on Oct. 19, there’s a good chance that’s when the White Out game will be held.

Franklin has described the White Out game as “Christmas morning,” and Kirk Herbstreit often refers to the tradition as one of the best atmospheres in college football. We’ll see if Franklin sold it well enough to get the Jonas Brothers back in Happy Valley in a few months.
