If you thought Jourdan Lewis was leaving for the NFL after this year, think again.

The stud Michigan cornerback tweeted out that he plans on staying in Ann Arbor.

Lewis has had an All-American season for the Wolverines. Certainly the talk about his pro prospects peaked after a game against Michigan State in which he recorded six pass breakups. On the season, he has 14 of Michigan’s 34 pass breakups.

Ranked No. 17 among corners on NFLdraftscout.com, Lewis apparently has no desire to cash in this year on his phenomenal. He’d rather get his sociology degree before he takes his talents to the next level.

Lewis and the Wolverines will look to stymie Minnesota on Saturday night in the Twin Cities.
