Virginia and Texas Tech are giving everything they have in the national championship game on Monday night, hoping to hold the trophy at the end of the night. And right in the middle of the game, some fan decided to leave his mark.
No, there was no streaker in Minneapolis on Monday night, and nobody threw any bottles of water or cups of beer on the floor. That, believe it or not, might actually seem a little more appropriate.
Instead, someone tossed a tortilla onto the court during the title game. Seriously. Yahoo! Sports was able to capture the tortilla on the floor before it was removed.

It’s not something you see very often. However, it is a tradition for Red Raiders fans, but it’s usually reserved for kickoffs during football games. But since Texas Tech is playing in its first championship game in basketball, why not?
There are many questions about the who, what and why regarding the tortilla being thrown on the court. Perhaps the most important, though, was whether it was a flour or corn tortilla.
