Iowa Police trolls Iowa State fans with Halloween costume guidelines

Were you thinking about dressing up for Saturday’s game in Iowa City?

Well, the University of Iowa Police Department has a few suggestions for you on what’s an appropriate costume. And no, you may not dress up as a real cop. They don’t like that.

Here’s the police department’s Facebook post, complete with a nice little Iowa State jab.

So to be straight, here’s what the University of Iowa Police will allow:

-Adorable kid cop uniforms

-skimpy cop uniforms

-Ronald McDonald/Iowa State costumes

And here’s what they won’t allow:

-Full Hawkeye uniforms

-Actual police uniforms

The only question is, how many Iowa students will rock the Ronald McDonald costume tomorrow?
