The Justin Fields era is underway.
Saturday’s spring game got off to a bit of a rocky start for Fields, making his first public appearance in the scarlet and grey, but he quickly corrected some of those early game struggles.
In the second quarter, with his team pinned inside its own 3-yard line, Fields dropped back and launched a pass to Binjimen Victor down the sideline. The pass hit Victor in stride and the receiver was able to get to the end zone easily.

Fields was expected to be the starting quarterback from Day 1, but Ryan Day has been reluctant to name a starter just yet, saying he’s not in any rush to do so.
Fields made a pretty strong case for himself with that throw.
Those are the kind of plays that everyone is expecting Fields to make all throughout the year.
