Adrian Martinez left a lasting impression on the college football world as a true freshman, but the Nebraska quarterback is just getting started.

In Saturday’s spring game, Martinez picked up right where he left off last fall, shredding defenses with his legs and through the air. That includes one of the most ridiculous touchdown throws you’ll see this spring.

Martinez started the second quarter of Nebraska’s spring game with an incredible touchdown pass, making a throw across his body that hit his receiver right on the money. The amount of zip he put on the football in that situation was pretty spectacular.

Receiver Jaron Woodyard made a nice play on the ball for the touchdown catch.

Martinez will enter the 2019 season regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in the B1G and is already one of the early Heisman Trophy favorites. Even after one season with the Huskers, the college football world is impressed with the rising sophomore.

If he continues to make throws like that, he’ll definitely find himself in the Heisman conversation near the end of the year.
