The one game that Penn State fans most look forward to finally has a date.

In a recent email, Penn State announced that its annual White Out game is scheduled for Oct. 19, when the Nittany Lions host Michigan. The program has traditionally reserved the White Out game for the biggest matchup of the year — usually Michigan or Ohio State.

Last year, Penn State’s White Out game was against the Buckeyes, a 27-26 loss at Beaver Stadium. The Lions defeated Michigan in the 2017 White Out game 42-13. Penn State also defeated Ohio State in the 2016 White Out game 24-21.

Penn State is coming off a 9-4 season but is hoping to challenge Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State in the B1G East again this fall. The Nittany Lions have won 10 games in two of the last three seasons.

Along with Michigan, Penn State also has home games against Idaho (Aug. 31), Buffalo (Sept. 7), Pitt (Sept. 14), Purdue (Oct. 5), Indiana (Nov. 16) and Rutgers (Nov. 30).
