Everyone felt confident that Dwayne Haskins was going to be a New York Giant. The NFL Draft experts believed the organization would go with the hometown quarterback who was considered one of the top two gunslingers available this year.
When the No. 6 pick rolled around, the Giants on the clock and Kyler Murray going No. 1 overall to the Arizona Cardinals, Haskins seemed like a lock for New York. But the Giants stunned everyone by selecting Duke quarterback Daniel Jones with the sixth pick.
Haskins, who was not in attendance in Nashville, was captured on video reacting to the Giants’ pick. It’s subtle, but you can tell he wasn’t too impressed:

Haskins was widely regarded as one of the two best quarterbacks in the draft. He was expected to be a top 10 pick, but eventually fell to the Washington Redskins at No. 15.
Haskins had an incredible season at Ohio State and has the potential to be a great quarterback in Washington. We’ll see if that snub from the Giants fuels the quarterback’s fire moving forward.
