Every year, the B1G awards 28 student-athletes with a postgraduate scholarship to aid their tuition as they intend to further their education. On Thursday, those recipients were named.
Two recipients are football players, as Indiana’s Michael McGinnis and Wisconsin’s Zander Neuville were two of the 28 student-athletes to be awarded the scholarship. The award is based primarily on academic achievements.
Each individual receiving the scholarship will be awarded $7,500 to continue their education. Each of the 14 B1G member institutions is awarded two scholarships for student-athletes.
