Indiana’s opponent announced for Jimmy V Classic

Indiana has learned who it will face in the 2019 Jimmy V Classic come December.
On Thursday, Indiana Basketball tweeted out that it will play UConn when it takes the floor at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 10. The Hoosiers and Huskies are part of a four-team field that also includes Texas Tech and Louisville.
The event is part of ESPN’s V Week for Cancer Research, in which the company raises money for the V Foundation for cancer research. Last year, over $8.3 million was raised.
According to IUHoosiers.com, this will be Indiana’s fourth appearance in the Jimmy V Classic. It will also be the fourth time UConn has participated in the event.
It will be the third appearance for Louisville while Texas Tech will be making its first trip.
Tipoff times are still to be determined, but the two games will be played as a double-header. The Hoosiers are 2-1 in the previous three appearances while UConn is 0-3.
