Ohio State’s leading scorer and rebounder will be putting on the Buckeye uniform for at least another season.
Tuesday, Wesson decided to return to Ohio State for his junior season. He had previously declared for the NBA Draft but kept the option open for a potential return. Wesson still has two years of eligibility remaining.
“I’m excited to return to The Ohio State University and continue my journey as part of team #121,” Wesson said in a statement.

Wesson averaged 14.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game for the Buckeyes in his sophomore campaign. He improved in every statistical category from his freshman year.
The star forward helped lead Ohio State to a 20-15 record this season and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes defeated Iowa State in the first round before falling to Houston in the second round.
