Travis Vokolek might be leaving Rutgers but there’s a good chance he stays in the B1G, according to a recent report.

Derek Young of Rivals reported on Tuesday that Vokolek has narrowed his options down to three schools: Nebraska, Kansas State and Iowa. The tight end decided to look for other opportunities after spending two years with the Scarlet Knights.

Vokolek, a native of Springfield, Missouri, reportedly decided to transfer to be closer to his hometown.

Vokolek appeared in 19 career games for the Scarlet Knights, including all 12 in 2018. Last fall, he caught 16 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns. Vokolek was expected to be the top tight end for the team this coming year.

Iowa seems like a good destination for the tight end, especially with the program losing both Noah Fant and T.J. Hockenson. And considering Kirk Ferentz’s reputation at producing NFL-caliber tight ends, it could be a perfect marriage.

But Scott Frost and a new-look Nebraska offense could be an interesting landing spot, as well. Regardless of where he ends up, Vokolek is likely to make a big impact.
