The “horns down” pose has really taken off recently. It’s a trend that became most popular thanks to Texas’ rivalry with Oklahoma, but now it’s become on of the more popular insults across the country.
Sooner fans aren’t afraid to do when head coach Tom Herman is around, either. Even if he’s standing right next to them.
During a youth football camp this weekend, one young camper stood with Herman for a picture. When Herman wasn’t looking, the camper, a native of Norman, Oklahoma, flashed the “horns down” gesture at the camera.
The camper was 2023 tight end Parker Andrews and his father, Greg Parker, shared the video on Twitter.
I took my soon-to-be 9th grade son, @Parker32Andrews , down to a Texas last Sunday for football camp and he had an opportunity to meet Texas’ coach, Tom Herman. Parker never wastes an opportunity! 🤣😂#ClassOf2023 pic.twitter.com/V6sXS1rJIp

The soon-to-be high school freshman couldn’t help but show where his loyalties lie, at least for right now.
The youngster will probably catch some flack from Texas fans, but he’ll get a lot of love from Oklahoma and anyone else in the Big 12.
