Sexual assault activist Brenda Tracy has given major praise to Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan football program.

This week, Tracy made a return trip to Ann Arbor to educate the Michigan football team on the reality of sexual and domestic assault and violence, particularly in college athletics. She has made multiple trips to speak with Harbaugh’s teams and gave him credit for bringing her to campus every offseason.

“(Coach Jim Harbaugh) is the first coach in the country to make a commitment to bring me in every year to work w(ith) his incoming players & staff,” Tracy wrote in a tweet.

Tracy also posed for a picture with the team.

Tracy, a survivor of sexual assault that occurred over 20 years ago, is working to educate and inform students and student-athletes on college campuses of sexual and domestic assault. Her goal is to end these horrific crimes on college campuses.

Her motto for college campuses and students is to “Set The Expectation.”

Several college athletics coaches have reached out to Tracy and have welcomed her to campus to speak with their teams. Harbaugh is the first to have her on campus every year.

That’s certainly something Harbaugh deserves a lot of credit for, trying to educate and inform his incoming student-athletes even before they step on the field.
