Ohio State DB Jordan Fuller announces good news

The prognosis for Ohio State defensive back Jordan Fuller has always been that he’ll be ready to go for the 2019 season, but on Tuesday, the Buckeyes secondary star made it official.
Fuller, who underwent surgery this offseason for an undisclosed injury, announced via Twitter that he’s officially ready to go for the upcoming season. He tweeted out the word “Cleared,” to tell Buckeye nation he’s set and ready for fall camp.

Though he was never really expected to miss any time this fall, it’s still good news for the Buckeyes.
Fuller will be the starting safety for Ohio State in 2019, but he was forced to miss spring practice because of the undisclosed injury. With his message on Tuesday, it appears that he’ll be able to fully participate when camp picks up in August.
Last season, Fuller and Malik Harrison led the team in tackles, totaling 81 for the season. Fuller also registered 2.5 stops for loss, four pass break-ups and an interception while appearing in 13 games. He missed Ohio State’s season opener against Oregon State.
With the Buckeyes losing a plethora of talent defensively, Fuller will be expected to be a major contributor in Ohio State’s secondary. That makes it all the more important that he’s cleared for the start of the 2019 campaign.
