All the momentum Carsen Edwards had during Purdue’s NCAA Tournament run has carried over to the NBA Summer League.
In his Summer League debut for the Boston Celtics, Edwards scored 20 points on 7-of-15 shooting, which included five 3-point buckets. That total led the team in scoring and helped the Celtics defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 96-82.
Not a bad way to start on the NBA circuit for the former Purdue star. Below are some of the highlights from Edwards’ performance:

Edwards was selected early in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft, going No. 33 overall. He was originally picked by the Sixers, but was part of a trade that sent him to Boston.
The 6-foot electrifying scorer is already turning some heads in the NBA. If he continues to score in bunches throughout Summer League, he’ll have no trouble finding a spot on an NBA roster.
