Former Ohio State running back Beanie Wells was a phenomenal player during his time at Ohio State from 2006-08.

He went on from Ohio State to the NFL, which is the dream for any football player growing up. On Thursday morning, however, Wells went through a nightmare.

He found out that his brother, Joel Wells, was shot to death in Akron, Ohio. The police have no suspects and Beanie Wells wanted to help further the case by adding a $15,000 incentive to finding the culprit:

Beanie Wells last played in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals in 2012. In his professional career, he maintained a 4.0 yards per carry average while scoring 24 TD over four seasons.

Back in 2018, Beanie Wells was seeking treatment for a brain injury he suffered that he believed was caused by playing football.
