The tough news continued for Michigan State.
Three days after the Spartans suffered their first loss of the season, they lost one of their top 2016 recruits. Naquan Jones, a four-star defensive tackle, announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he was decommitting from Michigan State.

The No. 2 ranked player in the state of Illinois, Jones has offers from Florida, Nebraska and Ole Miss among others. The 6-4, 284-pound defensive tackle had yet to make his official visit to East Lansing.
He gave his verbal commitment to the Spartans in June.
He was the second-highest rated defensive lineman prospect in Mark Dantonio’s 2016 recruiting class, which ranks 14th in the country.
