Paul Chryst 'confident' in WR Danny Davis not facing more team penalties
Back in 2018, Wisconsin WR Danny Davis got in a bit of trouble.
He was eventually suspended two games to start the season for being named in a criminal complaint. The 2018 season has come and gone though.
It’s 2019 now, and later this month, the regular season will begin. Davis came back to play after his suspension a year ago and is looking to do the same this year, continuing where he left off.
On Friday, Wisconsin had a practice and Paul Chryst spoke about Davis and his availability going forward:
Update on #Badgers WR Danny Davis, who was suspended for first two games in ‘18 for his role in Cephus’ matter: Davis back at practice today after testifying Thurs. Paul Chryst confident Davis will not face more team penalties. Story coming.

According to Chryst, it seems like Davis should be good to go. Last season, he caught 40 passes for 418 yards and 5 TD.
Wisconsin’s 2019 campaign kicks off on Aug. 30 at USF.
