The greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL will be around at least two more seasons.
On Sunday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Tom Brady has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the New England Patriots. The extension will pay him $23 million this year, making him the sixth-highest paid quarterback in the league.
According to Schefter, the extension will keep Brady in Boston through the 2021 season, but the contract will be adjusted each year he continues playing. Originally, Brady was scheduled to make $15 million, so the new deal also gives him an $8 million pay increase.
