A Texas high school worked up the courage to hire disgraced former Baylor head coach Art Briles to run its football program a few months ago. Well, courage or stupidity. We’ll let you decide on that.
Nonetheless, Briles is coaching a football team again. And in the football-loving state of Texas, that means he’ll be swarmed by media frequently throughout the season. One of his first encounters came this week.
Things got pretty awkward.
Near the end of Briles meeting with the media, one reporter decided to throw out a question to make the head coach uncomfortable. The question shouted was, “You guys are the Tigers, any talk about changing the name to the Scapegoats?”
Briles appeared to just play dumb on that matter:

That probably won’t be the first awkward encounter between Briles and the media this year.
