Fall training camps are well under way in the world of college football as the regular season begins later this month.

At Ohio State, it’s no different and first-year head coach Ryan Day talked with the media after practice. Of course plenty of questions went his way and one asked about incoming five-star players arriving at camp.

Day’s response?

This is hilarious. Day of course has the luxury of having multiple five-star level talents at his program at once. It’s not an insanely special thing when a top recruit winds up at Ohio State.

One five-star prospect who may be experiencing the mindset of “nobody cares” is WR Garrett Wilson:

Wilson is the No. 2 WR in the Class of 2019 and No. 20 player overall according to 247Sports. In the end, though, Day says he’s fighting for a backup spots.

At Ohio State, it’s true. Nobody cares that you’re a five-star prospect. The best players will play. Period.
