WATCH: Isaiah Williams showcases blazing speed during Illinois practice

Now you see him. Now you don’t.

That’s the kind of blazing speed Illinois freshman Isaiah Williams showcased on Thursday during fall camp. The true freshman was able to break away from the defense and sprinted to the end zone.

Williams not only sped past the defense, he turned on the burners, leaving everyone else in the dust. It was just a glimpse of what the former four-star athlete can do for the Illini this fall.

Jeremy Werner of Illini Inquirer shared the video of Williams’ blowing past everyone on the field:

Whether he’s the starting quarterback or not, Lovie Smith needs to find a way to get that kid on the field. It’s hard not to utilize that kind of speed.

And when Williams is on the field, watch out. This kid is going to be a really fun player.
