The 2019 NFL Draft has come and gone.

The 2018 draft, however, is well in the rear view mirror at this point. Despite all the selections that were made over a year ago, former Ohio State LB Chris Worley was not one of them. He went undrafted despite racking up 153 total tackles and an INT to go along with six pass deflections during his career as a Buckeye (2014-17).

Worley eventually signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and played in two games for the team last year before getting cut. The Seattle Seahawks eventually picked him up, but released him just four days later.

Now, prior to the pivotal Week 3 of the NFL Preseason, Worley has found a new home:

The Philadelphia Eagles have a number of LBs already on the roster, but adding Worley ahead of the most important preseason game of them all does speak volumes. Maybe Worley won’t make the opening roster or even latch onto the Eagles’ practice squad once the season begins, but teams know who the former Buckeye is.

They know he has talent. It’s just a matter of which team will eventually scoop him up for the long haul.

The Eagles face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Aug. 22.
