LOOK: Louisville will be rocking Muhammad Ali inspired alternate uniforms this season

This is one slick alternate uniform combination.
The Louisville Cardinals have pulled off a number of different alternate jerseys in recent years, but this one may be the nicest yet! This season, the Cardinals will be debuting a Muhammad Ali inspired combination as a way to pay respect to the Louisville native.
The unique combination does almost completely away with Louisville’s signature red color. The jersey and pants are white with black stripes and accents, along with a white helmet that features black striping and decals. It is meant to emulate the look of Ali’s black and white boxing trunks.

The only touch of red for the combination is reserved for the gloves. It is obviously a nod toward red boxing gloves.
