Ambry Thomas was a four-star prospect coming out of high school.

247Sports had him pegged as the No. 90 overall recruit in the Class of 2017. Last season, Thomas scored a TD on a kickoff and had 412 return yards. He played on both sides of the ball.

Earlier this month, Harbaugh gave an update saying that Thomas has been out of camp due to being diagnosed with colitis. There was no timetable on his return.

Nearly a week later, Thomas took to Twitter to give an update:

This is excellent news from both a personal standpoint and a football standpoint. Big things seem to be ahead for Michigan, as many believe the Wolverines are the team to beat in the B1G this season.

Having Thomas on the field — and most importantly healthy — will only help the maize and blue.
