The first touchdown of the college football season has been scored.
No, Florida-Miami kickoff isn’t scheduled until 8 p.m. tonight, officially starting the 2019 FBS football season. But the FCS starting things a little earlier in the day, as Villanova and Colgate go head to head.
Villanova is the first team to score points in the 2019 college football season. An 18-yard pass from Dan Smith to Jalen Jackson. The score came with 14:20 to play in the second quarter.

Points are officially on the board and the college football season is underway. It’s a good way to start the day before settling in for two games on Saturday night.
