At least 10 people were shot shortly after the conclusion of a LeFlore vs. Williamson High School football game at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama on Friday night, per multiple reports.
Five victims – all between the ages of 15 and 18 – were taken to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, none of their injuries are considered to be life-threatening at this time.
Two suspects were immediately detained for questioning, and there has now been an arrest made.
First reported by WKRG News 5 in Mobile, 17-year-old Deangelo Parnell has been charged with nine counts of attempted murder, via a statement from the Mobile Police Department.

“We’re going to have to be more aggressive on our end, the city, as to how we hold the individual accountable when they go before the courts,” Mobile Police Chief Lawrence Battiste said.
“We have to make sure they understand we will not tolerate juvenile violence in our community.”
