Brad Salem grades his playcalling performance from MSU’s win over Tulsa

A win is a win, but there’s no denying the Spartans have to be better moving forward.
Michigan State started off 2019 by taking on Tulsa over the weekend. The defense did turn in a dominant performance and was the star of the win, but the offense is still looking for consistency.
The Spartans won by a final score of 28-7 in Week 1. However, the offense only scored one touchdown in the game. The defense chipped in a touchdown and a safety while Matt Coghlin kicked four field goals.

Asked to grade his performance in the game, offensive coordinator Brad Salem did not mince words. He admitted he needs to be better, as does everyone involved, heading into Week 2.
