WATCH: Cincinnati punter seeks out UC students wearing Ohio State gear on campus

Ohio is a Buckeye state. That’s just the way it is. And while that’s great for Ohio State, sometimes schools like Cincinnati can be treated like a little brother.

This week, Cincinnati travels to Columbus to take on Ohio State for an in-state rivalry game. So, with the Bearcats and the Buckeyes set to clash at The Shoe, one member of the UC football team is going to extreme lengths to make sure the OSU garb is nonexistent on campus.

Cincinnati punter James Smith went around the UC campus this week, seeking out students wearing anything Ohio State-related. Whether it was a Buckeye hat, the Block “O” or anything else related to the scarlet and gray. When he found students not supporting the Bearcats, he placed a UC logo sticker over the Ohio State logo.

Surprisingly, Smith found a good chunk of UC students wearing Ohio State gear, even during game week. The video is pretty entertaining, as the punter attempts to eliminate any Buckeye gear on Cincinnati’s campus.
