Michigan RB Zach Charbonnet scores first career touchdown

Michigan freshman running back Zach Charbonnet rushed for 90 yards on just eight attempts in his college debut last week. He’s now in the end zone for the first time.
Charbonnet scored Michigan’s lone touchdown of the first quarter against Army, tying the score at seven with a two-yard touchdown run at the Big House.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, Charbonnet arrived at Michigan as a 4-star prospect and the No. 4 running back in the 2019 recruiting class. Overall, 247Sports ranked him the No. 46 overall player in the class.
Charbonnet leads the Wolverines with 23 rushing yards on five carries early against Army. The game is tied 7-7 with about 12 minutes remaining in the second quarter.
