The return game of a home-and-home, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Colorado Buffaloes are meeting at Folsom Field in Boulder on Saturday.

One of the most loyal fan bases in the nation, crowds of Nebraska fans made the 500-mile trip to cheer on their team.

Nebraska Football shared the football image on Twitter:

Saturday is the 71st all-time meeting between these two programs. Former Big 12 Conference rivals, the two met every year from 1948-2010 with Nebraska holding the edge, 49-19,2.

Colorado won last year’s game in Lincoln, 33-28. In what was the first game of his collegiate career, Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez finished 15-20 for 187 and three touchdowns (two rushing) vs. the Buffaloes in 2018.
