Adrian Martinez on bad snap at end of OT: ‘Who gives a (bleep)’

Well, that is not how Nebraska’s trip to Boulder was supposed to work out this season.

The Cornhuskers headed to Colorado for a rematch of a tough loss from 2018, and Scott Frost’s squad started strong in the contest. Nebraska carried a 17-0 lead into halftime and looked destined to cruise to an easy finish.

Unfortunately, the Cornhuskers were outscored 24-14 in the fourth quarter as their lead slipped away. Still, there was a chance to come away with the win after holding Colorado to a field goal in the overtime period.

That quickly changed when Adrian Martinez took a big sack on third down. It forced Nebraska into a long field goal attempt that was missed badly, giving Colorado the 34-31 win.

When asked about the bad snap after the game, Martinez was not in the mood for making excuses. He said it was still up to him to go make a play:

Martinez also went on to say that he told his teammates to remember the feeling of this loss. Hopefully, it serves as motivation for the Cornhuskers moving forward:
