Indiana-Ohio State isn’t known to have a lot of bad blood, and it’s not one of the bigger matchups in the Big Ten every year. Well, it might be this season.

Hoosiers defensive coordinator Kane Wommack spiced things up with some comments about Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields to the media Monday afternoon. He said a few different things that might end up being Ohio State bulletin board material, but a lot of fans are probably going to point to his statement about how Indiana’s defense is going to try to “get some pretty good shots” against Fields.

Fields has arguably been the best player in the BIG through two weeks, especially on offense. In two games, Fields is 38-for-50 with 458 passing yards and six touchdowns along with 103 yards and three more scores on the ground. He’s led Ohio State to two blowout victories, outscoring Florida Atlantic and Cincinnati, 87-21.

Fields will start his first BIG game against Indiana at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday in Bloomington.
