Penn State is 2-0 and is a top 25 team for a reason.

The Nittany Lions are a talented football team and have been a good team for the past few years. Pittsburgh, however, hasn’t had the same level of success in recent seasons. The two schools are in-state rivals and Pittsburgh is certainly not a fan of Penn State.
At Penn State, however, the Nittany Lions don’t seem to look at Pittsburgh the same way. Franklin always tells his team that he wishes to go 1-0 that week.
It doesn’t matter who the opponent is. It doesn’t matter who the Nittany Lions play next week.
Just go 1-0.
On Tuesday, Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford and linebacker Jan Johnson were asked about playing its rival in Pittsburgh this week:
QB Sean Clifford, MLB Jan Johnson on what playing Pitt means to Penn State players. Clifford: "You are probably expecting this answer. Each week we have to go 1-0. That’s the only goal in mind." Johnson: "Just means another opportunity to go out in Beaver Stadium and get a W."

Clifford and Johnson aren’t treating Pittsburgh any different than any other opponent.
As expected.
