ST expert picks against the spread: Power Five matchups, rivalry games headline Week 3

Meaningful football continues to make its presence known in the B1G. This week, we’ve got a smorgasbord of Power Five matchups, rivalry games and a B1G showdown. It should keep us entertained from noon until midnight.

After a somewhat embarrassing showing from Week 1 by our “expert” pickers, the second week of the season proved to be much better — well, for everyone except yours truly. Connor, Paul and Kevin all hit over the .500 mark in last week’s picks, while I was well below that average.

Connor is the only one who has been on the plus side of that figure two straight weeks, and maintains the lead on the group. Paul has creeped into the second spot while Kevin and myself are well behind. But, hey, the season is still young.

Here’s a look at last week’s records, as well as our season totals:
