It took about one quarter for Justin Fields to answer the questions about whether or not he was prepared to play a B1G game on the road.
Fields scored the first touchdown of the game, a short run in the first quarter to give the Buckeyes an early 7-0 advantage. But it was a long touchdown pass that made us realize he’s pretty darn comfortable on the road.
Early in the second quarter, Fields launched a deep ball right down the middle of the field for Chris Olave, who beat his defender. The result? Six points for the Buckeyes. Below is the 37-yard touchdown pass.

That touchdown gave Ohio State a 16-3 lead early in the second quarter.
So, yeah, I’d say Fields is pretty comfortable on the road.
