The Temple Owls were able to upset the No. 21 Maryland Terrapins, 20-17, on Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Scoring only two points in the fourth quarter – an intentional safety by Temple as time expired – Maryland had a prime opportunity to put some more tallies on the board with 3:15 remaining.
Temple punter, sophomore Adam Barry, shanked a punt while kicking out of his own end zone. Marked out of bounds at the 10-yard line, the punt only netted seven-yards.
