Iowa-Iowa State is under an early lightning delay

That is one way to kill a mood.
Iowa and Iowa State have hit the field in the 2019 version of the Cy-Hawk rivalry. Always an attraction with plenty of bad blood on either side of the ball, it is one rivalry you do not want to miss. The Hawkeyes even jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter.
Unfortunately, the game has also hit an early lightning delay. Around midway through the first quarter, play was halted due to lightning in the area.
No current re-start time has been announced.
