Iowa-Iowa State battled for the Cy-Hawk trophy Saturday night.

It was supposed to be played on Saturday afternoon, but thanks to over two hours of weather delays, the game went into the night. Once all the crazy weather passed, the two teams played each other very evenly for the first 58 minutes of the game.

With 1:29 remaining, Iowa punted to Iowa State, giving the Cyclones one last chance to go down and score and win the game. All Iowa State needed was a field goal as it trailed 18-17.

Iowa fans certainly won’t let Iowa State fans live this moment down.
