Week 3 for ESPN’s College GameDay was great.
The crew went to Ames, Iowa, and while that wasn’t exactly a Big Ten destination, it featured a B1G team and its in-state rival — Iowa-Iowa State. The battle for the Cy-Hawk Trophy is a big one and this year’s game proved to be no different.

Iowa won the game 18-17 thanks to some good, hard-nosed football and winning the special teams battle. Moving on from Ames, College GameDay announced where it will be heading for Week 4:

The crew will be heading south to Athens, Ga. for a matchup between Georgia and Notre Dame. According to the latest AP top 25 poll, the Bulldogs are ranked No. 3 in the country, while the Fighting Irish are No. 7.
This game will certainly have plenty of hype to it and College GameDay will surely only add to the electric atmosphere.
