ESPN’s FPI updates odds to win B1G following Week 3

As conference play continues to ramp up, the picture for the B1G Championship gets just a little bit clearer.
Obviously, there is still a long way to go between now and December. A number of teams have yet to kickoff B1G play, but the non-conference slate has helped illustrate the early contenders to win the B1G this season.

Following Week 3, ESPN’s FPI has another new team at the top of its projections. After Wisconsin topped the list following Week 2, the Badgers slipped a little while being idle for Week 3. Ohio State made a big jump and now has the best odds to win the B1G after a huge win over Indiana.
Here are the top five teams in terms of odds to win the B1G, according to the FPI:
- Ohio State – 47.9%
- Wisconsin – 28.2%
- Penn State – 8.6%
- Iowa – 5.7%
- Michigan – 3.8%
