Spreads in Vegas are constantly changing. When the money starts pouring in, it’s not uncommon to see the lines start to shift a little bit. Rarely, though, do we see such a significant shift in such a short period of time — at least without major injury news of some kind.

On Sunday, Nebraska opened as a 7.5-point favorite in the B1G opener against Illinois on Saturday. It seemed like a fair line, considering neither team has looked overly impressive through the first three weeks of the season.

It appears that bettors are a little more sold on the Huskers than the Illini, though.  According to 247Sports, Circa Sportsbook has nearly doubled and Nebraska is now favored by 13 points heading into the Saturday night showdown.

Nebraska is coming off a 44-8 win over Northern Illinois while Eastern Michigan upset Illinois 34-31 in Champaign. Both teams are 2-1 on the season.

Saturday will serve as the first B1G game of 2019 for both teams on Saturday.
