Ohio State has cruised through the first three weeks of the 2019 college football season. You can’t ask for much more than 3-0.

And, it hasn’t just been that the Buckeyes have won three games and haven’t lost. It’s the way they’ve looked. And out on the field, that’s what matters.

For Week 4, the Buckeyes are hosting an in-state foe in Miami (OH).

Ahead of the game, which is slated for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday, the team released its depth chart. Below, is Ohio State’s depth chart, via Eleven Warriors:

There are a number of intriguing takeaways, but one is at the defensive end spot opposite Chase Young. Everyone knows that Young is absurdly talented and a likely top five pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. But, what about who starts on the other side of the defensive line?

This week, against the Redhawks, the Buckeyes have Tyler Friday, a sophomore listed as an “OR” with freshman Zach Harrison. Harrison is of course talented, but is certainly young as well, having picked up his first career sack against Indiana one week ago.

Buckeye defensive ends Jonathon Cooper and Tyreke Smith are out with injuries. Alongside Cooper and Smith missing the game this Saturday, defensive tackles Robert Landers and Taron Vincent are unavailable as well.
