No one has more rushing yards than Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor over the last two seasons. But to get even better, Taylor has turned to some unusual training methods that include hot yoga.
The junior back gave ESPN’s College Gameday a behind the scenes look at his training regiment this week.
“Places that are normally tight because of the position that I play, a punishing position, get really tight,” Taylor told ESPN. “So being able to have those areas loose and being fluid in those areas has definitely been helpful.”
Taylor has also been taking mindful meditation classes during his time at Wisconsin. Check that out and more in the video below:

Taylor has 237 rushing yards and five touchdowns in two games this season. He’s averaging almost 6.8 yards per carry.
No. 13 Wisconsin will host No. 11 Michigan in a pivotal early-season Big Ten game on Saturday at 12 pm ET. Taylor rushed for 101 yards on just 17 carries against the Wolverines last year.
